GPS can now help avoid speeding tickets
Luckily, today technologies are coming to help drivers. With the help of Web 2.0, portable navigation systems and Microsoft Virtual Earth you can watch out from appearing on your local's police speeding camera.
This started with the idea of Shannon AtKinson, who discovered after launching his web site NJection.com that when it comes to auto-related topics, people are always talking about speed traps and cameras.
That is why he developed "Speedtrap", a GPS feature which can help you identify speed radar detectors and cameras.
Speedtrap is working trough out the US and in other cities such as Rome, London and Toronto and it is available for download from Garmin, Mio, TomTom and others via Njection.com.
