GPS can now help avoid speeding tickets
Everybody has probably got a speeding ticket at some time and nowadays when cops can use both speed radars and photo cameras to catch drivers in the act, you must be as careful is possible if you don't want to get one more speeding ticket.
Luckily, today technologies are coming to help drivers. With the help of Web 2.0, portable navigation systems and Microsoft Virtual Earth you can watch out from appearing on your local's police speeding camera.
This started with the idea of Shannon AtKinson, who discovered after launching his web site NJection.com that when it comes to auto-related topics, people are always talking about speed traps and cameras.
That is why he developed Speedtrap, a GPS feature which can help you identify speed radar detectors and cameras.
Speedtrap is working trough out the US and in other cities such as Rome,London and Toronto and it is available for download from Garmin, Mio, TomTom and others via Njection.com.
