Israel will create a medical drone to evacuate the wounded

Israeli defense companies along with some respected scientists are developing a drone that will be capable of flying over the battlefield at about 10 000 feet altitude only with 1 medic on board, retrieve the injured soldiers and then fly away with 150 knots to safety.

The UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) will begin testing if all goes as planed, in about 24 months and it will carry 4 wounded and 1 medic.

The perfect mission for the developing team, is that UAV being piloted by 1 man along with a medic until the limit of the safe zone. Then the pilot will remain on the ground and drive the UAV still carrying the medic to the battlefield.

There it would retrieve 1 or more injured personnel and return to the safe zone while the on board medic will stabilize the condition of the wounded.

This project had to be started as many casualties occurred because there was no way of retrieving the
wounded in critical time in the past and many people died with medium injuries that could have been easily treated.
