click to enlarge The technology regarding robotics have been developed very much in latest years and in the same time their aspect.

Referring at the aspect part, has been created a new model of covering - "soft body", based on biometric technology, that will have under it's synthetic skin a silicon layer controlled by electronic circuits which can simulate mussels.

Based on biological materials and adaptive mechanisms found in biological cells, skin and in the entire living organisms, this prototype can be useful in many domains as: medicine, space, soft circuits, power supply, etc.

At the robotic side, a major advantage is that a material covering a robot, will become function much elastic, not so rigid as until now.

In surgery, "soft robotic" can make operations with a higher precision without actual existent rigidity.

In space, robots with soft movements, can be sent in dangerous places, instead of peoples, assuring a higher precision in working, reducing in the same time human errors.
