New processors from AMD

click to enlarge AMD will produce a new processors series under Brisbane brand with a low consumption up to 45 watts.

The production will start with Athlon 64 X2 BE-2000 model at 2 GHz, followed by BE-2400, BE-2350 and BE-2300 with frequencies at 2.3 GHz, 2.1 GHz, respectively 1.9 GHz.

These processors will have a 512x2 L2 cache and technologies as HyperTransport and AMD Virtualization.

With this reduction of energy will result into a lower heating of the processor and of the entire system obtaining a better functionality.
