click to enlarge Yesterday February 8, 2007, Firefox has launch alpha 2 for Firefox 3.0 Grand Paradiso.

One of the known but still existent issues is memory management which is doing incorrectly. As we surfing the internet, the used memory quantity grows substantially until a few hundred MB.
This problem will be solved on alpha 3 version.

As advantage will have a low CPU consumption comparing with actual Firefox 2.0, including the situation when it is in background, reducing consumption until 0%.

Firefox 3.0 will use Gecko 1.9, which will determine to be used on superior operating systems, therefore on win9x generation will be inoperable.

Rendering module is improved and will run faster.
