AMD brings the new dual core processor at 3 GHz with a low power consumption between 45 and 125 watts. This dual core model it's faster as frequency than the most faster processor from Intel which has 2.93 GHz. It's cheaper than Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 with 30 to 60 dollars. Using a standard cooler for it, can be obtain a powerful noise, but can be reduced using AMD CPU Cool ' Quiet technology.
