It's cheaper than Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 with 30 to 60 dollars.

Using a standard cooler for it, can be obtain a powerful noise, but can be reduced using AMD CPU Cool ' Quiet technology.

Between its specifications we can remember:
- L1 Cache 128 KB
- L2 Cache 1 MB on each core
- 227.4 millions transistors
- Voltage 1.35V - 1.40V
- 90nm DSL LOI, Socket AM2 (940 pin)

At tests, AMD processor compared with Intel it's not better in every tests, but thinking on its price comparing with Intel's price it is of course much convenient.

AMD X2 has the price between 459 and 600 dollars.
